The Big Questions

Your redesign team will focus on answering a set of vital questions which will be used to create a brief document of your responses (e.g., PowerPoint, spreadsheet, text document).  The Center for Teaching and Learning will collect these documents at the end of the Institute and then send them out to the entire group and publish them on the CTL website after the Institute.

  • Name two problems the redesign will solve
  • What will the redesign look like (e.g., structural configuration)
  • What are next steps & what problems or barriers need to be addressed
  • What resources are needed to proceed and try to gauge a sense of where the gaps are
  • What is the stage of your thinking on software/ technology integration
  • Map out an overall timeline and tentative deadlines (e.g., major milestones and/or deliverables)
  • How will you manage your project, electronically (e.g., use a Moodle or Google project site for document sharing, team discussions, etc.)
  • How can CTL assist
