The “tools” listed below can be used by instructors to deliver information to, assess progress, communicate with, or receive feedback from their students. Some tools you can download and request a license using the provided request form and others are available to use within our e-Learning lab.

Blackboard Vista is a Learning Management System, or LMS, which provide an integrated set of tools in a secure, web-based environment. Blackboard Vista will only be available through Spring 2011. read more »
Camtasia Studio can be used for real-time recording, editing and publishing video presentations which can be used for training, demonstration, tutorials, and many other uses. read more »
eInstruction’s Personal Response System (PRS) or “clickers” has become increasingly popular in the classroom. Clickers are a small handheld device with a display screen that allows numeric and alphanumeric input from students. read more »
Impatica for PowerPoint is a stand-alone software program that allows Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to be compressed and played over the Internet without plug-ins, at modem speeds as low as 28.8 kbps. read more »
The Provost has accepted the recommendation made by the LMS Evaluation Committee to begin the transition to the Moodle LMS. All courses listed in Banner are now available to be delivered in Moodle. read more »
