Nona McDuff, Director of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at Kingston University, is the featured speaker for an event that will kick-off a week of workshops open to faculty and students on the topic of diversity and inclusion in the curriculum.  In her keynote address, Ms. McDuff will examine debates/drivers of diversity and inclusion in Higher Education and discuss unconscious bias and its impact on learning and teaching.  Subsequent workshop will explore the principles of inclusive learning and teaching.

Workshop: Inclusive Learning and Teaching Practices

In this workshop, Nona McDuff will assist faculty in the development and implementation of course and curricular goals for understanding diversity.  Attendees will discuss inclusive strategies as they apply to three key areas of the teaching and learning practice:  Course Content, Teaching Styles, and Assessment.
