Peer Review of Teaching: Observing Time Management

Date Published:

Nancy Cooke and Concepcion Godev are back with the third episode in their series on peer review. The first thing to look for in a classroom observation is how the professor manages time before the class starts, including having materials and technology ready and interacting with students. Starting the class on time is essential to encouraging students to be in class on time, too. Finally, you need to see if the class ends in an orderly manner with time for questions or if the professor must rush to finish.
