Do you teach online or are you interested in learning strategies for teaching in online environments? Looking for ways to increase or improve student collaboration online?
Join us in this Webinar that will focus on cooperative learning strategies for online environments, using research-based strategies that faculty can implement immediately. Participants are encouraged to have an assignment that could be used with student groupings handy – but feel free to join the conversation with or without an assignment in hand!
Beth Oyarzun, Ph.D., Clinical Assistant Professor of Instructional Systems Technology, will lead the session. Before joining UNCC, Beth worked as an instructional designer in the higher education environment for more than ten years. As an instructional designer, she taught online courses in instructional technology while providing professional development for faculty in online teaching pedagogy. Prior to working in higher education, Beth was a high school mathematics teacher for nine years.
NOTE: This workshop will be held online using WebEx, the University's Web conferencing system. You will need access to the Internet, and a microphone if you want to speak. You will be sent a login link the day before the Webinar.
