Effective Assessment Practices for Online Learning (Webinar)

Are you worried about the effectiveness of your online course assessments? This webinar will provide research-based assessment tips and techniques that you can use immediately. Please come prepared to discuss at least one assessment used in your course.
Beth Oyarzun photoBeth Oyarzun, Educational Leadership Department, College of Education, will lead the session. She has been teaching online for over ten years, an online student for more than 5 years, and also researches effective instructional strategies for online learning. She will share assessment tips and techniques that she has learned from her teaching practice, research, and experience as an online student.
NOTE: This Webinar will be held online using WebEx, the University's Web conferencing system. You will need access to the Internet, and a microphone if you want to speak. You will be sent a link the day before the Webinar.
