Just for Adjuncts: Spring Reading Group

Student Engagement Techniques book coverCome discuss the "nuts and bolts" of teaching with your fellow adjuncts!  Discussion will be guided by topics in the book HStudent Engagement Techniques: A Handbook for College Faculty.  (2009) by Elizabeth Barkley.  We will discuss how to keep students involved, motivated, and actively learning.   The ready-to-use guide shows how to apply each of the book's techniques in the classroom immediately.

Come to the reading group and take away valuable teaching tips and techniques that you can apply immediately.  We hope you will join us!
